HAVING TROUBLE DOWNLOADING?

For users that are having problems downloading the large files that are on this site, broken downloads, slow downloads and so on, we highly recommend using a download manager that has resume capabilities. Below is the program I use.

Dispite the not so impressive name this program is one of the best download managers on the web and if you use it you will never have another problem downloading from this site, plus you dont have to add the download links manually, this program does it all for you even with the "Registered Only" downloads.

We are on a shared host so this problem is expected so just give this program a try and see how it goes. You can always uninstall it later.

Idle Accounts Will Be Deleted After 6 Months

We have installed an auto prune system for users that have not logged in within 6 months in an attempt to keep our userbase active.

If you have not logged into this site for a minimum of 6 months, your account will be deleted and you will need to create another one.

Donating members that donate 5 dollars or more are immune to this, that is if you used the same email to donate with as you used to register on this site, if not please let us know who you are when you donate so we can add you to the exclusion list.

Looking for Mame CHD's? I know Mame CHD's are extremely hard to come by but not anymore as we have the entire collection including Laser Disc CHD's and they are always updated with the newest version of Mame. Anyway we hope you all have fun on this site and if you have any questions feel free to visit the Forums.

If you have submitted a Fix-Dat file to us and we have replied with a zip file that contains your fixes and updates, here is how you get those changes merged into your current ROM collection.

The zip file will only contain the files you are missing or that were incorrect, they will not contain the entire ROM set so you must "merge" the file we give you into your current ROM collection. Please do not simply overwrite any of your existing files with the zip file we supply to you.

First, take our zip file and unzip it into a clean directory of your choice (updates or fixes is a good name for the directory).

Using clrmamepro, select the "Rebuilder" option from the main menu.

Once you have the Rebuilder window up, point the "Source" to the new directory you created and unzipped the file we supplied to you. The "Destination" should point to your ROM collection.

Click on the "Rebuild" button and clrmamepro will look at the files we gave you and compare them with your current ROM collection. It will copy and or create any missing or correct ROMS for your automatically and place them in your ROM collection.

Once that operation is done, you can close the summary page and go back to the "Scanner" option from the main page and perform another scan. Your ROM collection should now contain all the fixes that were in the zip file we supplied for you.
